At 2 years children are sensitive to the outer order and internalise. If that order is disturbed, children become restless. Once the children cross three years, they do not seem bothered by the “Order” much because they are no more sensitive to the order.
A study conducted by the Ministry of Women and Child Development showed that 53.22% of children face one or more forms of sexual abuse. That means one in every two children faces sexual abuse in India. World Health Organization declared that India has the World’s largest number of sexually abused children and statistically speaking, every 155th minute one child below16 years is raped, at every 13th hour a child below 10 years and concluded that one in every 10 children is sexually abused at any point of time.
This is the photo of Mouna, a beautiful, intelligent and young girl of 16, who hanged herself. She was the second one I knew to commit suicide in 2009. The first one was my niece Chaitra. While Mouna hanged herself Chaitra drank an insecticide. Both killed themselves for their Love!
